How often do you work from home? A few hours here and there, a few hours each day, all the time?

To make calculating your home allowance easier, HMRC has simplified expenses, designed to avoid the collation (and calculations) of expenses against your home utility bills. Under the scheme, you can claim a specific, simplified figure for your expenses.

• 20 to 50 hours: £10
• 51 to 100 hours: £18
• 101 or more: £26
